Java/React - Hybrid in Chicago - Leader of Industrial Supplies

This leading provider of industrial supplies and tools, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their product matching team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a full-time opportunity to work on building a new web-based workstation, which will be a critical tool supporting mission-critical teams across their business.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to dive into different layers of their technology stack, including React, Next.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Data Bricks, and AWS cloud services. You'll collaboratively build both front and back-end components of the system, supporting the systems you build as part of our on-call rotation. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• Java and Spring
• 3+ years of experience building mission-critical systems as a full stack engineer
• Deep understanding of REST and HTTP and robust API development
• Understanding of distributed system design and experience building production-grade distributed systems
• Experience with cloud-native design patterns and production support
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance practices

• HTTP and TCP protocol understanding
