Director, Data Analytics

The industry leader in niche insurance is looking for a fulltime Director of Data & Analytics to join their team in their Conshohocken, PA office. This company focuses on providing services for profitable, industry-specific insurance programs. This is a huge opportunity for growth within a stable, but rapidly growing foundation.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving cloud data strategy, governance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable working with Program Directors, Underwriters, and additional Department Leaders to provide actionable insight into all areas of the enterprise. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years experience with Microsoft and deep understanding of Azure technology stack
• 8+ years experience deploying analytic tools using multi-disciplinary functional systems such as CRM, web analytics, production, customer and financial data
• Proficiency in Python, R and/or Scala

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience of Insurance industry or related experience with responsibility for developing advanced quantitative, analytical, and data science solutions
• Expert in SQL
• Proficiency in Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, tools, and best practices
• Proficiency in Data Governance concepts, tools, and best practices
