Network Security Engineer

Our client, a large financial company in the mortgage space, is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their information security team. In this role, you’ll be the go between for the security and infrastructure teams. You would be helping with the deployments of their Zero Trust and Zscaler and helping develop network security strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong network engineering background with one or two years of security-based experience. Tech wise, they need someone strong with proxy, WAF, ZeroTrust, Zscaler, and Cisco networking. This is a direct hire position, fully onsite in Coppell, Texas. Compensation is $110-120K. Required Skills & Experience

• Strong networking background with experience working on proxies, WAF, and network security.
• A solid knowledge base in cybersecurity principles with an emphasis on infrastructure security.
• Understanding of Zscaler and Zero Trust or similar product lines.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple IT teams (security, infrastructure, etc).

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or masters in related field and/or related certifications (CISSP, CCNP. Etc).
