Network Engineer III

Job Description We are partnered with a leading banking firm in Texas, who is looking for a skilled Cisco based Network Engineer. They need an individual who has at least 5 years of experience with Cisco VXLAN in a Data Center environment. They are a cisco-based environment with a Spine leaf architecture. A strong skillset with Cisco VXLAN in a Spine leaf architecture is a must. Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller is another tool that would like to see strong experience with. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, installation, configuration, break-fix support, design, and daily operation of all aspects of the LAN/WAN network infrastructure. This a direct hire opportunity, that will be fully remote ASIDE FROM one week on call per month to their Spring, TX OR Austin, TX data centers, IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. This will NOT be a one week per month on site expectation. On average they experience a total of 6 incidents per year, where the on-call team member will be required to go on site. They would prefer that someone lives in the greater Houston, Austin, or San Antonio areas. The pay range is $120,000-$130,000 annually, with exceptional retirement benefits. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Cisco VXLAN in a Data Center Environment
• Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller.
• Analyzing, implementing, installing, configuring, troubleshooting and designing all aspects of an enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure in a data center environment.
• CCNP or CCNP preferred, or the willingness to obtain one in 2 years or less.
