Senior DevOps Engineer

Our client, a software company known for building out sales enablement platforms, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team and take over some of the leadership and mentoring duties for their more junior staff. Working primarily on their AWS cloud based services. The ideal candidate has a strong background in AWS focused DevOps and has experience mentoring more junior team members. You’ll be helping with the containerization, CI/CD pipelining, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives as it pertains to their AWS platforms. Tech wise, they need someone skilled with Terraform, Ansible/Helm/Jenkins, Octopus, EKS, Docker, and GitLab. This is a direct hire position, 2 days onsite out of their far north Dallas, Texas office. Compensation is $130-155K plus bonus potential. Required Skills & Experience

• Solid background as an AWS DevOps Engineer or leader.
• Experience with building out EKS clusters and containerizing with Docker.
• Experience building out CI/CD pipelines utilizing Ansible, Helm, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of GitLab products.
• Leadership/mentorship skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or masters in Computer Science, or related field.
• Technical certifications a plus (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc).
• Experience with scripting (Powershell, Python, Bash, etc).
