Job Description

Our client, a large manager service provider focused on digital solutions and transformation, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. This individual will oversee the functionality and performance of their application, coming up with ideas to make it more stable and efficient, and leading the implementation of those suggestions.

Ideally, someone who can collaborate with development teams, build teams, QA teams, and product owners or business representatives to ensure that applications are designed, built, and automated correctly for peak performance. Tech wise, they need someone skilled with JavaScript, Typescript, PowerShell, the AWS stack, Datadog, Jenkins, and configuration management tools.

This is a direct hire, hybrid role (3-4 days onsite) in Dallas, Texas. With compensation ranging from $160-180K depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience monitoring application performance and implementing solutions to increase scalability and performance.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies (such as containerization and CI/CD pipelining) and the tools associated with these methods.
  • Willingness to lead and present technological discussions and teach new concepts to different teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology stacks and concepts.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years working as an SRE or software application support engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant certifications nice to have.
