Job Description
Our client, an independent services business that focuses on delivering a unified operating model for cloud, data, IoT and managed services, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who will be accountable for the availability, reliability, and performance of the services and platforms in a highly transactional 24x7 environment.
This position will require collaboration with development teams, build teams, QA teams, and product owners. Tech wise, they need someone skilled with JavaScript, Typescript, Powershell, the AWS stack, Datadog, Jenkins, and configuration management tools.
This is a direct hire role paying $160-180k depending on experience. The position is hybrid with 3-4 days on site, 1-2 days remote.

Required Skills & Experience
- Hands on experience with AWS public cloud
- Able to troubleshoot issues handling OS, Networking, databases in a cloud-based environment/on-premises environment and handle live production incidents, debug/troubleshoot application, and infrastructure issues, follow and implement SRE best practices.
- Monitor application performance, take steps to improve overall application performance and stability, and follow through with implementation.

- 5+ years experience in full-stack application support/SRE role
- Experience in Javascript, Typescript and web development technologies
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Powershell and/or Python
