Mid-Level QA Engineer

This emerging company based in the Greater Boston area is seeking a QA engineer. They are pioneers in the security sector, utilizing technology to detect threats using an advanced scanner. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model (requires occasional onsite presence).
You will construct security products with a scanning component, working alongside developers. This role will involve conducting tests on new releases, troubleshooting bugs, and implementing comprehensive QA processes company wide. We're seeking candidates with experience in software testing—both manual and automation—and proficiency in testing hardware components. Required Skills & Experience

• Hardware testing experience
• Manual and Automation software testing experience
• Playwright experience (Selenium is okay)
• Proficient in JavaScript (Java is okay)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT related field
• Backend testing experience
