Cyber Advisor Team Lead

Our client, is seeking Cyber Advisor Team Lead for SOUTHCOM's Joint CCMD Cyber Assessment Team (JCCAT), you will lead a team of Cyber Technical Advisors to support SOUTHCOM’s Regional Cyber Strategy and Campaign Plans.

You will guide the JCCAT team through the planning and execution of cyber-defense assessments and provide expertise to improve cyber capabilities in Partner Nations. This role involves developing country-specific Plans of Action (POA) and coordinating missions to enhance cyber-security efforts based on prior assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and plan JCCAT Follow-on Missions.

• Advise and assist Partner Nations on cyber-defense and security based on previous mission findings.

• Provide SME engagement, training, and staff planning support.

• Translate materials and report progress toward POA goals.

• Conduct briefings for U.S. Embassy teams and Partner Nation leadership.

• Offer input for Security Cooperation processes and submissions.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.

• BA/BS and 3-10 years of experience (or equivalent).

• 4+ years of military experience.

• Knowledge of C&A, NIST RMF, and cyber-defense principles.

• Experience in interagency collaboration and joint/multinational cyber operations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

• Strong communication and detail-oriented skills
