Java Engineer / AWS / Consulting

A leading-edge consulting firm is seeking to add a senior Java Engineer to their Atlanta, GA office. This organization specializes in designing, implementing, and deploying high-scale software applications for gas stations and convenience stores across the United States. Their innovative solutions are trusted by some of the most prominent gas station chains, including 7-Eleven and QuikTrip.

The role offers a flexible hybrid work model, with two days in the office and three days remote each week. As part of a collaborative team of engineers ranging from junior to principal level, you will play a pivotal role in driving development initiatives. The position encourages autonomy in decision-making while also providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years working with Java
• Good understanding of Java frameworks (Spring, Spring boot)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a team
• Experience with AWS

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience In the consulting industry
• An understanding of user interfaces
• Strong mathematical and writing skills
• Familiarity with working with AWS
