They are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Java Developer to join their dynamic team of five software engineers. This represents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the Healthcare IT sector.
The role is heavily focused on healthcare IT, requiring a deep understanding of industry standards such as FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and HL7 (Health Level 7). Proficiency in these standards is a critical requirement for success in this position. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in Java development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Candidates must be self-motivated, capable of independently managing tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision. The company is seeking a developer who can be trusted to take ownership of assignments and deliver results in a timely and efficient manner.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in developing high quality software.
- Advanced proficiency with Java, Python, SOAP, RESTful Web Services, MySQL, and AWS.
- Experience with healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, and IHE implementations.
- Exposure to security standards such as mTLS, SAML, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Ability to ramp up quickly on both new and existing technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Continued education and/or advanced degrees.
- AWS certifications.
- Exposure to Java technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Gradle.
- Experience with React front-end development.
