Cyber Security Analyst

This Electrical Technology and Manufacturing company is looking to bring on a Cyber Security Analyst onto their internal team. The organization is a keystone within the energy space, providing critical products for the utilities, green energy, industrial, and commercial clients. As an enterprise organization, this is a perfect opportunity for someone to cement themselves as a capable Cyber Analyst within a large, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is able to work on multiple projects at a time within the Security Operations space. Someone who is familiar within EDR, Incident Response and Remediation, DLP, Firewall management, and SIEM. You’ll need to be able to communicate across both business and technical teams, problem-solve, and articulate yourself well. Someone who is eager to learn and takes direction well would top traits of the ideal candidate.

Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Security Analyst working in the SOC or on an Engineering team
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience within incident response and remediation; ideally someone familiar with being a Tier II POC for escalation.
  • SIEM experience
  • DLP (Data Loss Prevention)
  • Network Security and Firewalls (ideally Fortinet/Fortigate)
  • Endpoint Protection experience
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Security Certifications: Sec+, Cloud certs
  • Industry knowledge in: Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing, or Logistics
