Long term contract opportunity in Everett, WA for a Configuration Manager role. The Configuration Manager will establish and maintain all aspects of configuration management activities relative to planning, identification, change control, status accounting, and auditing for programs, systems and/or equipment in accordance with internal guidelines and contract requirements. This position will require the ability to efficiently work in a high-pressure environment where critical priorities are normal and to assist our internal customers to provide a high-quality product ensuring the integrity of our engineering documentation to our product. This role requires to work on-site.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with the use of PLM and ERP product configuration data management processes and tools.
  • Analytical/project management skills
  • Self motivated professional
  • Knowledge of product design documentation and configuration management related standards.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, SharePoint and Microsoft TEAMS
  • Experience with Excel, pivot tables, pivot charts and V-lookups.
  • Experience with Word, PowerPoint and Adobe.
  • Experience with change management methods including the authoring of PRs, ECRs, and ECNs
  • Experience working with Boeing and Airbus.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
  • Ability to efficiently work in a high-pressure environment where critical priorities are normal and to assist our internal customers to provide a high-quality product ensuring the integrity of our engineering documentation to our product.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Establish and maintain all aspects of configuration management activities relative to planning, identification, change control, status accounting, and auditing for programs, systems and/or equipment in accordance with internal guidelines and contract requirements.
  • Knowledge of engineering documentation and configuration management related standards is required.
  • Monitor integrity using a variety of enterprise systems, tools and metrics.
  • Teach, instruct, and advise others in the oversight, analyzing and populating product data within enterprise business systems.
  • Acts as a mentor and coach and assists operations personnel with questions; troubleshoot questions from production operations on Teamcenter errors.
  • Working Environment: Assignments are moderately complex and include solving problems for which some precedents do not exist but affect and involve all facets of engineering and production product configuration data.
  • Working Relationships: Close working relationships with other functions within the company and occasional direct relationships with external customers. Requires a basic understanding of disciplines within other Business Unit functions and requires excellent communication skills and proactive contributor.
