Principal Software Engineer

A pre-IPO startup in DC area is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to build out a full stack application from the ground up. In this role you will be working across the stack to build out a communication platform that will be connecting between multiple assets and devices in the field. They are looking for a polyglot who has mastered several languages such as Go, C++, Java, Python, and others, but do require experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript with a modern UI framework.

Their product has a lot of traction and has the potential to help billions of people throughout the world who live on less than one US dollar per day. They are partnered with over 40 countries to replace legacy infrastructure and systems with their technology, and are going into a massive growth mode.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience taking products from 0 to N
• Experience building modern user interfaces with React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience with Golang, C++, Java, Python, or other OOP languages
• Experience building scalable and performant, distributed systems
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• BS in Computer Science

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Rust or Web Assembly
