The company is looking for a skilled Cloud Support Engineer with expertise in scripting and coding in Java, as well as hands-on experience with Azure cloud services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, providing excellent customer support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with Terraform is a significant plus. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, providing top-notch support to our clients and contributing to the success of our cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients, addressing their cloud-related inquiries, issues, and incidents.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their cloud architecture, troubleshoot problems, and offer effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain scripts and code in Java to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system performance.
- Utilize Azure services to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions tailored to meet clients' specific needs.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve cloud services.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to cloud computing, Azure, and Terraform.
- Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions to create a knowledge base for internal and external use.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in scripting and coding, specifically in Java, for automation and system integration.
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment is a significant advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively within a remote team environment.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer) are a plus.
