A mission-driven technology start-up is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Analyst to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI-powered cyber platforms and real-world operational mission sets. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity for a senior cyber operations SME with deep experience in Digital Network Exploitation and Analysis (DNEA) or Exploitation Analysis (EA). You’ll collaborate directly with engineers and operators to ensure systems support offensive and defensive cyber operations across government and national security environments. The position is onsite at Fort Meade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Digital Network Exploitation and Exploitation Analysis in real-world cyber operations
- Translate operational workflows into technical requirements for engineering teams
- Validate that AI/graph-based tools enhance mission effectiveness in both offensive and defensive contexts
- Collaborate with operators to improve system usability and mission alignment
- Lead customer engagements, demos, and strategic feedback sessions with government stakeholders
- Support training content development and ensure adoption of AI-enhanced cyber capabilities
Must-Have:
- 10+ years in cyber operations or intelligence analysis within U.S. military or intelligence agencies
- Deep expertise in DNEA and/or Exploitation Analysis
- Experience with multi-domain analysis (SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT)
- Understanding of both offensive and defensive cyber mission sets
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (required)
- Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of cyber exploitation techniques, network protocols, and adversary TTPs
- Familiarity with graph-based analytics, AI/ML applications, and data visualization
- Experience supporting or integrating with cloud environments in a government context
- Preferred:
- Experience transitioning from operational roles into product, R&D, or requirements engineering
- Exposure to AI-enhanced cyber tooling, IoT exploitation, or spectrum operations
- Background in doctrine/training development or acquisition support
- Strong briefing and communication skills, especially with senior leadership
