Senior Network Engineer / Azure Networking

Our client, a financial company, is looking to bring a Senior Network Engineer onto their team. They are a Texas based company focused on bringing military veterans and their families financial security. Their network infrastructure team has been ramping up to bring their infrastructure more cloud focused, so they’re looking for engineers experienced with migrating on-prem networks into Azure.

In this role, you’d be working closely with the network architect to help make their Azure based redesign a reality. You’d be helping with the migrations by building out VPC tunnels, load balancing their cloud components, reconfiguring their Cisco Nexus and Palo Alto gears, etc. The ideal candidate is technically skilled with Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto, and Azure.

This is a direct hire opening, fully onsite in Fort Worth, Texas. Compensation is a $110-120K salary with potential for performance based annual bonuses. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience assisting in on-premises to Azure cloud migrations as a network engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Nexus switches.
• Cloud based load balancing experience.
• Experience working in a datacenter environment.
• Excellent collaborative skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5-6 years of experience working as a network engineer, 1+ years working with Azure.
• Related certifications a huge plus (CCNA, CCNP, Azure Fundamentals, etc).
