Lead Software Engineer/ Java/ Consulting

We just partnered with a consulting organization with a large foot print here in the Greater ATL area. You'll be leading a large-scale project on a team of 6, building out a new greenfield development project for a client in the Fortune 500 space. Ideal candidates have significant experience in leading high-performing engineering teams building Java applications from scratch. 

This organization has seen significant growth over the last 2 years and looking to continue to build out their engineering department due to increased demand from their clients. Ideal candidates have experience leading teams and driving a technical roadmap. 

Requirements:

- Experience leading software engineering teams
- 3+ years working with Java
- Experience developing cloud based microservices
- Lots of experience with Spring/Springboot
- Cloud experience in AWS ideal- open to other cloud environment experience too
- Ability to lead, and ability to roll up sleeves as needed as well
