Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design.
- 3 to 5+ years of administrative /operational support experience in a corporate, service-oriented environment.
- Experience in a corporate (not agency) graphic design department.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional).
- Intermediate knowledge of industry standard graphic design applications.
- Creativity and strong understanding of the fundamental principles of graphic design and layout.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions for quality and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to assess work and make decisions from a technical point of view and prioritize requests efficiently.
- Must provide a portfolio/samples of recent work.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a financial institution.
- Knowledge of external print processes.
What You Will Be Doing
- Produce a variety of marketing materials (e.g., pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, infographics, etc.) using MS Office and Adobe applications to an advanced level.
- Assist with the production of creative PowerPoint pitch books and offers conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials including motion graphics.
- Trace and produce logos, maps, and illustrations.
- Ensure all materials produced are correctly branded as per the company’s standards and advise clients on the use of the brand.
- Liaise directly with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions and design requirements.
- Complete related admin for accurate work billing and job tracking purposes.
- Assist with intake coordination when required.
- Responsible for quality control of own work, as well as assisting colleagues with QC tasks.
- Buddy new starters post-training.
- Contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs.
