Fire Protection Compliance Engineer

A green energy company located in Northern Virginia is seeking Fire Protection Compliance Engineer to join their growing team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the tests of battery energy storage systems while aligning with industry standards and codes. This is an opportunity to make a true lasting impact on an ever-expanding field and make the energy we all use more sustainable and accessible. 

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years professional software development
• Strong understanding of UL 9540A, NFPA, 855, and NFPA 68/69/70/72
• Knowledge of heat influx
• Comfortable traveling 25% of the time
• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent degree)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working and managing project for different clients at the same time
• Ability to work independently
