Network Architect/Cisco

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge network solutions for hospital environments. This role will focus on network modernization, including a large-scale Cisco access switch replacement project, core distribution migrations, and the transition to VXLAN-based SD-WAN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise network architectures tailored for hospital environments.
• Develop Visio diagrams to map out network equipment and infrastructure.
• Lead the replacement of 1,000+ Cisco access switches and oversee core distribution life cycle migrations.
• Architect Cisco-based networking solutions, including Catalyst/Nexus switches, Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, and Cisco 9300 series.
• Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and support VXLAN and SD-WAN technologies.
• Oversee Cisco wireless deployments and optimize F5 load balancing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security, scalability, and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive Cisco networking experience (route/switch design, configurations, and upgrades).
• Expertise in Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, ACI, ISE, SD-WAN, and VXLAN.
• Strong background in hospital network infrastructure and large-scale data centers.
• Experience with F5 load balancing and wireless networking.
• Ability to create and present detailed network design documentation.
