Software Development Manager

A growing company in the health industry has an exciting opening for a Software Engineering Manager to join their team! Headquartered in the Greater Philadelphia area, they are hiring an experienced manager to lead a group of cross-functional engineers and create strategy for their products directly impacting customers. This is a technical position and will have some coding responsibilities in Java/Spring and JavaScript frameworks. This will be a great opportunity for someone that has held previous managerial roles and wants to expand into scaling a product/team, or an exceptional Technical Lead with direct mentorship experience for multiple individuals. Required Skills & Experience

• Technical background in Java development
• Experience leading and/or directly managing software developers
• Demonstrated experience creating and delivering technical roadmaps, strategy, budget, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• At least a BS degree in a STEM field, Masters or MBA preferred

Desired Skills & Experience

• Fullstack experience with JavaScript or JS frameworks
• Experience re-architecting applications
• Experience with Azure or similar cloud
