Senior Cloud Security Engineer / GCP / DevOps / Startup

Job Description A geospatial software startup that uses AI for data analytics is looking for a Cloud/DevOps Security engineer. You'll wear multiple hats, primarily focusing on GCP infrastructure as well as security and compliance, including ISO270001 and NIST-800-171. Ideal candidates have extensive experience working with GCP ideally (AWS also acceptable) and have worked in highly regulated industries following security and compliance standards. Experience with Crowdstrike Falcon, Twingate, LastPass, MFA hardware keys, and/or Vanta is strongly preferred. You'll work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment!

This role is remote with very occasional travel to their office in Houston (travel is paid for). Applicants must also be US Citizens as security clearance will be needed. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps
• Security compliance experience - ISO 270001 and/or NIST 800-171 preferred
• Experience scripting in Python, Bash, and Shell
• Security/Compliance experience with Crowdstrike Falcon, Twingate, Lastpass, TOTP auth apps, MFA hardware keys, and/or Vanta
  
• Strong experience working with GCP preferred, AWS also acceptable
• Strong communication skills as you'll work across diverse teams and industries
• Preference for Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Preference for startup experience
