Our client, a biopharmaceutical company, has an urgent hiring need for an AV Technician at their brand-new AMI (American Medical Institute) location. The position will be based in Irvine, CA and will be fully onsite (5x weekly).

Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months.

Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong customer-facing skills and ability to speak to leadership there.
- Must be able to be in the office five (5) days per week.
- Occasional weekend work may be required as schedule is planned for scheduled events.
- Confidentiality is critical.
- Comfortable in Medical Environments: Must be at ease working in medical settings, including close proximity to cadavers for medical research purposes.
- Works closely with onsite BTS Site Support resource.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (nice to have)
What You Will Be Doing
- A/V Support Specialist for AMI (AbbVie Medical Institute) Events.
- Coordinate and provide comprehensive event support for various events and meetings.
- Effectively manage and operate in-room equipment during events, which includes direct-feed cameras, in-room A/V, and mobile devices (i.e. iPads)
- Assist with setup and breakdown external audio/video equipment used for events.
- Manage remote audience’s experience through in-room A/V system.
- Collaborate with additional support staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Supervise and oversee equipment within the AMI environment.
- Regularly update and maintain equipment as needed.
- Provide support during testing activities using AMI equipment.
- Stage and assist in the fulfillment of the delivery of equipment for installations as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of AMI.
- Collaborate with additional staff to ensure effective support of AMI.
- No travel required as part of this role.
