Independent Risk Management Consultant

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in analyzing complex business/system changes and business process management to determine impact, identify risk issues.
• Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls.
• Experience in data visualizations that communicate information effectively.
• Experience in developing and executing on various reports in Tableau or Excel in support of key risk oversight activities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Independent Risk Management, such as Credit Risk, Independent Testing, or Operational Risk, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Independent Risk Management deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Independent Risk Management challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Independent Risk Management deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Independent Risk Management.
