Principal Data Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Data Engineer to support an R&D Data science group. This position will be acting as technical lead on a team creating, deploying, and maintaining high availability, robust data/ETL pipelines.
This position will require extensive prior knowledge and experience with data engineering in an enterprise environment, specifically with a data warehouse/lakehouse. This includes an understanding of different ETL & data pipeline technologies, as well as techniques & best practices for scalability & high uptime: database backups & recovery, maintenance, continuity in data, error correction, and scalability.
This is a hybrid position in Irving, TX (3 times per week in office).
Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ Years in Data Engineering
  • Azure (Databricks, ADF)
  • SQL
  • ETL
  • Programming: Python/Scala/Java

• Utilities industry experience
• Relevant Industry/technology certifications
