We are working with a construction company that is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer on a full time direct hire basis to join their network engineering team. It will be hybrid with a 50/50 onsite and remote schedule located in Irving, Texas.

In this role, you will be working closely with management and other infrastructure teams to ensure network security and optimization. The ideal candidate has experience with enterprise Cisco network architecture and design and has a strong network security background. One of the first big projects you would be working on is implementing a zero trust network framework, and developing and implementing the security policies for the network. Technically, they are looking for someone skilled with Cisco Nexus, Meraki, ISE, Cloudflare, F5, Checkpoint, and extra bonus points if you’re familiar with Zscaler. Required Skills & Experience
  • Network architecture and design experience, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network security principles and policies – Zscaler/Zero Trust desirable.
  • Knowledge or experience of Cisco ISE components.
  • Excellent collaboration skills – you will need to collaborate with operations, security, and cloud based teams on a regular basis.
  • Ability to own projects and mentor junior level staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – documentation skills are required.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc) highly desirable.
