We’re looking for a Java Data Engineer to join a dynamic and rapidly growing company specializing in developing advanced fraud detection services for the finance industry. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, we empower financial institutions to safeguard their operations against fraudulent activities.
As a Data Engineer specializing in fraud detection services, you will play a pivotal role in our technology team, focusing on using Java to build robust data pipelines and scalable infrastructure within a Hadoop environment. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and analysts to ensure efficient data ingestion, processing, and integration, ultimately contributing to the development of innovative fraud detection algorithms and services.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Java and Flink within a Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, etc.).
- Implement data integration solutions to ingest large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources into our analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability, considering best practices in data engineering and software development.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the process.
- Explore and implement new tools and technologies to enhance data processing efficiency and analytics capabilities.
- Experience with real-time data processing frameworks (Kafka, Flink, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
