Director of Software Engineering and Infrastructure

Job Description An established college is hiring a Director of Software Engineering to their team. As a director you’ll be responsible for overseeing the development of applications used directly by students to facilitate their research as well as help modernize their infrastructure. Ranked in the top 15 colleges in the U.S., this college is extremely well known for their research capabilities. You’ll be spearheading the development of applications that allow for students to conduct research, as well as oversee infrastructure development, and oversee project management activities. Required Skills & Experience

• Highly skilled in OOP languages (C#, Java, Python, etc.)
• Highly skilled in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 3 years of experience being in a manager or director role

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in the educational or academic industry
• 8+ years of development experience
• Degree in an engineering field
• PhD in an engineering field is a plus

• Overseeing technical teams in software development, infrastructure, and project management.
