Contract duration: 6 months
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, development, or database management
- Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience using relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL development, and warehouse architecture
- Demonstrated ability to convert business needs into effective technical solutions
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills, especially in executive-facing contexts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Self-starter who thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced setting
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience working in transaction-heavy environments like transportation, tolling, or fintech
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Basic scripting skills in Python, R, or similar languages
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile workflows
- Experience collaborating with external partners or third-party vendors
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
- 50% Data Analysis, Reporting & Dashboard Development
- 25% Gathering Business Requirements & Process Documentation
- 15% Supporting Testing, UAT, and Training Creation
- 10% Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of large data sets to guide business decisions
- Create data validation processes and reinforce data governance
- Facilitate user testing, training sessions, and system documentation
- Proactively identify areas for process optimization and digital upgrades
- Translate complex business problems into technical data solutions
- Act as a liaison among IT, business teams, and external collaborators
