Assistant CIO / Infrastructure Services / Hybrid in Los Angeles

A major university campus is looking for an Assistant Chief Information Officer to oversee their infrastructure services. You'll be responsible for securing traditional and cloud infrastructure services, including network, platform, and data center operations in order to optimize performance, increase storage, elevate the network, and reduce downtime. You'll lead the unification of network services overseeing network architecture, engineering, field services, maintenance, and operations.

This role is 50% on-site in Los Angeles.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure services
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in a management or leadership role
• Experience with the design, planning, and implementation of new, large-scale network infrastructure
• Experience with data center, email or network consolidation, or other enterprise-wide technical consolidations
• Expertise in infrastructure design and development, technical architecture, and core enterprise applications
• Experience in higher education a plus but not required
