Lead Data Engineer / DTLA / Law Firm Experience Required!

We are seeking a Data Engineering Lead responsible for leading the expansion and optimization of the firm’s data and data pipeline architecture, as well as data flow and collection processes. You will ensure the integrity of all data from source systems into the data warehouse and data provided to our ETL processes. Your role will involve defining and creating data architectures that meet business requirements, developing custom data models and algorithms for data sets, and creating processes for data modeling, mining, and production.

Reporting to our branch office in Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid 2-3 Days), you’ll join a tech-forward, fast-moving, and dedicated team working with some of the best minds in Tech/IT & Law.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8 years of experience in data disciplines including data integration, modeling, optimization, data quality, and data engineering
• Prior experience working for a law firm
• Experience in designing, building, and managing data pipelines for data structures
• Proficiency with advanced analytics tools for object-oriented/object function scripting, including C#, Python, and others
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, and SSAS
• Knowledge of non-relational databases such as NoSQL/Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Experience with BI software tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Experience in employing Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Services (MDS)
• Experience in developing ETL using Alteryx/Intapp
