Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi/PCM and/or other Managed File Transfer systems including Messageway.
- Experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi/PCM required
- High ability to multitask with various assignments is critical.
- Experience working with fast pace multitasking environment to completed assigned tasks and work through obstacles. Experience working out of a ticket queue with defined SLAs
- Knowledge of file encryption software (PGP & GPG)
- Ability to work effectively in a high change environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports
- Ability to work in a team environment working with Project Managers
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with Linux Servers, SFTP Server experience, experience in Unix scripting and maintaining scheduled services.
- Experience with Progress Messageway
- Experience with Linux with navigational knowledge
- Experience with UNIX SFTP and FTP server
What You Will Be Doing
- Work in a fast-paced information technology environment migrating and supporting Client Managed File Transfer (MFT) processes moving from a Messageway system to an IBM Sterling system with the PCM user interface.
- Manage assigned workload, leading conversations with clients to establish migration changes needed by the client system and coordinating/executing scheduled process migrations with clients colleagues.
- Work as part of a MFT migration team reporting to migrate MFT processes from a Messageway System to a Sterling System with a PCM user Interface.
- Manage assigned workloads for process migrations, update centralized tracking tools to provide daily status of each assigned migration.
- Understand source migration processes and technologies including connection credentials (ID/Password, SSH Key, Known Host Keys) and GPG encryption keys.
- Setup up and validation of migration processes in IBM Sterling MFT system.
- Work with Clients colleagues to resolve issues and make corrections, coordinate and manage migrations with clients.
- Work with Vendor support for any technical needs/issues within the Sterling system.
- Research and resolve complex technical problems or data discrepancies reported by client.
- Act as client support by identifying and responding to technical and non-technical issues or questions from internal and external customers.
- Review and maintain/update documentation as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
