Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator on a 11-month contract in Memphis, TN. This role is open to working remotely.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6 years of language development in a relevant and applicable language and/or business analytical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of language development and applications design.
- IT professional with systems administration background
- Technical Skills:
- Server provisioning (i.e., configuring for application hosting)
- IIS administration
- System configuration
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues
- SQL Server: Ability to analyze queries and improve performance of complex stored procedures.
- Some infrastructure knowledge: General enterprise landscape, N-Tier architecture
- Knowledge of continuous integration configuration and administration: TFS, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, GIT
- Knowledge of code management and system integration
- General knowledge of the following: JavaScript, AJAX, C#, Web Post and Get and the lifecycle of a request and response
- Attention to detail and ability to work through issues logically with minimal supervision.
- Critical thinking aptitude is a must but with awareness to escalate issues where appropriate.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Proven experience in interpreting user requirements, business applications design, and development of business applications.
- Develop, maintain, test and debug software to meet generally defined requirements in a Windows client/server environment utilizing software development languages/environments such as PL/SQL, Oracle, Progress 4 GL Application Development Environment (ADE), .Net, Microsoft SQL, or other platforms. Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding for the purpose of developing or modifying moderately complex information systems. Prepare detailed specification from which programs will be written. Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain programs.
- Become familiar with most aspects of the application including reports, parameters, claims management, intake services, carrier/client interfaces and vendor/business partner interfaces.
- Analyze user needs as required; assist in the design of specifications to meet end user needs.
- Develop and modify software to meet the specifications outlined in data processing requests.
- Develop and maintain software to meet requirements of insurance carrier and regulatory groups.
- Test and debug assigned projects; assist in testing projects for other members of the programming staff.
- Prepare documentation on new or existing software.
- Investigate call escalations from the support staff; make the necessary corrections to data and/or software.
- Assist in the professional growth of programmers.
- Follow departmental pre-established standards and guidelines as they pertain to design and development.
- Adhere to the goal of delivering and maintaining the highest quality of customer service to our clients.
- Keep abreast of software development language revisions and technology advances.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Support the organization's quality program(s).
