Data Engineer / Hybrid / Secret Clearance

A forward-thinking federal consulting agency specializing in delivering innovative AI-driven solutions to the defense and intelligence communities is looking for a Data Engineer. Their mission is to enhance national security by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and data engineering to provide actionable insights and strategic advantages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and building and maintaining ETL pipelines, with a proven track record of applying these skills in cleared spaces. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with defense and intelligence clients to discover datasets that could help in solution development; curating data, analyzing, and performing quantitative modeling; deploying and implementing solutions in collaboration with product team; and interacting with the product team on current and upcoming user requirements.
This role is hybrid in the DC region, with 2-3 days on-site and expected travel requirements throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance, Secret level or higher is required. 
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas)
• Building and maintain ETL pipelines
• SQL/MySQL
• Familiarity with AWS
