Linux Systems Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer

A consulting company for a Top 5 tech company is looking for Linux Site Reliability Engineers. You'll work in a high-computing environment, handling all things Linux. You'll manage and maintain Linux servers (over 20K systems and counting) while also implementing automation and Kubernetes administration. Ideal candidates have a deep understanding of core infrastructure services such as DNS, LDAP, NIS, NTP, DHCP, and are self-motivated, requiring minimal hand holding.

This role is on-site hybrid or fully remote in Mountain View. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer
• Expertise with core infrastructure services such as DNS, LDAP, NIS, NTP, DHCP, etc.
• Experience automation
• Scripting experience with Bash or Python
• Strong communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
