This North American Media Entertainment and Digital Audio Advertising industry leader has an immediate 6+ month contract opportunity in New York City for a Senior Social Media Manager. This position requires working onsite two days per week. This dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager will be responsible for supporting the social media initiatives and leading the social media efforts for adtech brands. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic social media campaigns that align with business objectives, driving brand visibility, growth, engagement, leads, and revenue. You will collaborate across teams to create compelling content, manage campaigns and publishing schedules, and engage with online communities. What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in social media management in a B2B environment (Must be able to articulate your past experiences clearly and concisely).
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
- Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand content.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics (Sprout Social a plus)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of social media trends and innovations
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
What you’ll do:
Social Media Strategy, Content, and Campaign Management (focused on adtech business):
- Lead and optimize full-funnel social media strategy (emphasis on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube) for AdsWizz, Simplecast, and AudioGO, aligning with broader marketing goals.
- Plan and manage paid and organic campaigns, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment and impact.
- Oversee content development from planning to publishing, ensuring brand consistency and audience resonance.
- Drive growth, engagement, lead generation, and revenue influence through smart tactics, performance insights, and strategic partnerships.
Content Publishing & Community Management:
- Manage and execute the social content calendar and publishing and its adtech brands—AdsWizz, Simplecast, and AudioGO—ensuring timely, platform-optimized content distribution.
- Adapt publishing strategies based on engagement trends and algorithm shifts to maximize visibility and performance.
- Foster brand presence by actively engaging with post comments, team posts, key communities, industry voices, across social channels.
- Maintain timely, brand-aligned communication to support relationship building and audience loyalty.
Reporting, Research, & Insights:
- Build performance reports across the organization and its adtech brands—AdsWizz, Simplecast, and AudioGO—highlighting social media KPIs, lead generation, and revenue-driving insights.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and audience analysis to refine targeting, content, and campaign strategies.
- Identify emerging trends and platform shifts, offering strategic recommendations to keep the brands ahead of the curve.
