Bilingual Senior SOC Engineer / Spanish and English / Hybrid / New York

A prominent global investment management firm is hiring a Senior SOC Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Midtown Manhattan and they need someone bilingual in English and Spanish.

Reporting to the Manager of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response, you’ll have hands-on responsibilities in cybersecurity operations, incident response (IR), and forensic investigation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations consulting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish languages
• Proficiency in incident response (IR) and forensic investigations using a variety of tools.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and attack methodologies.
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of one or more SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, or GSOC are a plus.
• Experience in security monitoring and incident response tools, including EDR and email defense.
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation and Response) platforms.
