Our client, a groundbreaking company in the rewards and financial technology industry, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. This hybrid role, based in New York City, offers an exciting opportunity to manage and enhance infrastructure for a rapidly scaling platform that bridges renters with rewards and pathways to homeownership.
As a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer, you will play an essential role in optimizing and automating infrastructure in a high-growth, innovative company. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll oversee the full GCP infrastructure while driving automation, stability, and performance improvements. Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role in software engineering.
- Expertise with GCP or AWS infrastructure management and automation.
- Strong foundational understanding of network, server, and application monitoring.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation tooling.
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, Perl, etc.) and experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis).
Desired Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a startup or early-stage development environment.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
