A life insurance company that's been going since 1972 is looking for a Help Desk Support Specialist to join their team! You'd be supporting a team of about 150 people, and would be working on a hybrid schedule, 2-3 days a week in either their Garden City or Lake Success offices. 

This person will be supporting assistance requests, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues, and staying updated on system information and changes. 

Thanks so much for applying! This is not an entry level role but it is a junior role, and we will be very happy to call people who have got a year or two in help desk work and are in the area. 

Requirements: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a help desk role, troubleshooting technical problems
  • Any experience with the following is greatly appreciated but not an absolute requirement:
    • Microsoft 365 product suite (Teams, OneDrive, etc)
    • Remote access technologies like VPN or terminal services
    • Basic Networking concepts and technologies (DHCP, DNS)
    • Basic Active Directory administration
