Their platform enhances financial workflows by automating reconciliations, streamlining the close process, and providing real-time insights through advanced analytics. They're looking for a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of their product’s design direction. This role offers the opportunity to define and shape the user experience, transforming complex financial workflows into intuitive, seamless solutions. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to prototype, iterate, and deliver impactful features that improve usability and efficiency.
Responsibilities- User Research: Conduct interviews, usability testing, and gather insights to inform design decisions.
- Design Execution: Develop wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and end-to-end user flows to address key challenges.
- Design System Development: Build and maintain a scalable design system to support rapid iteration and future growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate technical requirements into intuitive experiences.
- Innovation: Leverage industry trends and user feedback to introduce new ideas that enhance the product’s usability and appeal.
- Experience: 5+ years as a product designer, with at least 2 years at a mid-sized or later-stage startup.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Figma and other leading design tools; strong grasp of UX research, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Systems Thinking: Ability to develop scalable design systems with consistent patterns, colors, and typography.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a first-principles approach to tackling complex design challenges.
- Startup Mindset: Adaptability to fast-moving environments with a focus on iteration and execution.
- Bonus: Familiarity with data-heavy applications, engineering concepts, or a background in software development.
