Senior IT Manager / Newark, NJ / On-Site / ERP Migration / Linux / Salesforce

The Senior IT Manager is responsible for the definition, development, implementation and ongoing operations of computer-based systems and related processes for the business unit. The Senior IT Manager manages and implements strategic technology projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the committed time frame and budget. In this role, the Senior IT Manager will oversee diverse projects including ERP migrations, IT infrastructure and service delivery optimization, digital transformation and other business needs as required.

Essential Skills And Responsibilities

• Experience aligning IT department priorities to organization’s vision, strategies, and goals.
• Proven experience leading teams of 5-10 engineers
• Lead IT department which includes management of direct reports. Ability to teach, coach and develop staff.
• Experience leading ERP conversion(s) projects is a requirement.
• Maintain and manage all relevant IT licenses.
• Proficient knowledge in modern office productivity, communication, and collaboration toolsets with a focus on Microsoft tools

Requirements

• 5-7 years industry experience with a bachelor’s degree in any field and demonstrated success in IT and people management.
• Experience leading an ERP conversion required.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of project delivery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies, and policies.
• Experience with Linux platforms.
• Experience implementing Salesforce.
