Job Description
We are looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer to join a fast-growing team based in Center City, Philadelphia. This full-time position involves working on custom web parts for SharePoint using React and TypeScript, as well as the SharePoint Framework (SPFx). You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's intranet and extranet platforms, with an emphasis on creating innovative solutions for client-facing applications. This role requires the flexibility to come into the office 1x per month.

You’ll be the go-to expert on SharePoint development, working closely with a talented team to build custom web parts, optimize intranet functionality, and improve the Client Connect extranet for secure client collaboration. Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience with SharePoint, including custom web parts and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Proficient in React and TypeScript for building SharePoint solutions.
- Experience developing intranet and extranet platforms.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL API and integrating it with Azure.
- Ability to work independently and be the sole SharePoint developer on a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based development.
- Previous experience working in legal or enterprise environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers as needed.
What You Will Be Doing
- Developing custom web parts and solutions for SharePoint using React and TypeScript.
- Building and maintaining the Client Connect extranet platform, enabling secure collaboration between attorneys and clients.
- Working with the team to improve and optimize the intranet system for internal use.
- Integrating GraphQL APIs and communicating with Azure for data and functionality.
- Being the lead SharePoint expert and sole developer responsible for all related projects.
- Collaborating with the director of innovation and other internal teams to shape the future of the platform.
Tech Breakdown
- 70% Front End Development: Creating custom SharePoint web parts with React and TypeScript.
- 30% Backend Development: Working with GraphQL APIs, Azure, and SharePoint configuration.
Daily Responsibilities
- 90% Hands-On Development: Coding, testing, and deploying new features for SharePoint and the extranet platform.
- 10% Team Collaboration: Collaborating with the product team, stakeholders, and director of innovation to prioritize features and improvements.
