Software Security Engineer

A massive manufacturing and distribution company is currently on the hunt for a Software Security Engineer. Supporting software defenses and pioneering innovative solutions for software security will be main responsibilities. Routine vulnerability management, working on groundbreaking software development and architectural projects will be part of your day to day. To be successful you need proficiency in coding across various languages, particularly in Python.

Expertise in automation and devops tools, such as GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, Kafka, and PowerShell, are another requirement. This role will give you the unique chance to have a direct influence on the technical aspects of security within a high-performing software team. Fully remote contract engagement spans a duration of 12 months, with the potential for conversion to a full-time position.

Contract Duration: 12 months Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software development
• 7+ years Software security
• Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Other relevant languages: Go, Rust, PowerShell
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
