We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology (IT) to lead and manage our clients IT infrastructure, with a focus on Windows environments, VMware virtualization, and property management systems such as RealPage and Yardi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and a strategic vision to drive technological advancements that support our business objectives.
You must be local to the North East area of Philadelphia to work onsite 4 days per week. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring effective communication and understanding of technological needs.

  • Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based systems and VMware virtualized environments.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Manage the integration and optimization of property management systems, including RealPage and Yardi, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.

  • Project Management:

  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance business processes.

  • Security and Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.

  • Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology investments that align with the company's strategic goals.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Extensive experience with Windows Server environments and VMware virtualization technologies.
    • Proven experience managing and optimizing property management systems, specifically RealPage and Yardi.
    • Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
    • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.
