Infrastructure Security Engineer / EST Location Only

This retail SaaS company is looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to bolster their team. They’re rapidly growing, and their recent FedRAMP certification means they’re able to bring on a new demographic of clients. They want this engineer to leverage a strong infrastructure background to help grow their existing SecOps program. In addition to being hands-on keyboard with things like vulnerability management, they want this person to be able to contribute at the strategic level as well; For example, weighing the pros and cons of two different tools and choosing which one to implement. It’s a great opportunity to put your stamp on a growing program while still remaining hands on with the tech. As long as you live in the Tri State Area, this is a fully remote role. Only candidates in this region will be considered.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, ideally with a strong infrastructure background/knowledge. They are also planning on automating as much as possible, so experience in Terraform or Ansible (or having an SRE background) would be hugely valued. Expertise in SecOps engineering experience is required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Around 5 years of experience in Security Operations engineering
• Infrastructure background and/or strong infrastructure knowledge
• Experience with big picture decision making for long-term solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Desired Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with FedRAMP and/or NIST CSF
• Automation skills in Ansible or Terraform
• Experience with Microsoft tool suite
