A prominent organization is seeking a Mid-Level Linux Engineer to join their team, focusing primarily on on-premises operations (VMware) with some Azure Cloud and scripting. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Linux systems and possess adept scripting skills tailored towards VMware environments. Responsibilities will revolve around maintaining and optimizing on-premises infrastructure, with a focus on scripting automation for VMware tasks. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and contribute to the enhancement of existing systems. The position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and requires the ability to adapt to evolving technological landscapes.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of Linux Engineering Experience
  • Proficiency in Linux Servers, RedHat, RHEL, CentOS
  • Strong background in Data Center operations
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud
  • Working knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Services
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Familiarity with Linux Networking (TCP/IP, IPtables)
  • VMware vCenter proficiency
  • Experience with hybrid cloud technologies, Azure Portal
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Familiarity with RabbitMQ Middleware
  • Automation skills, particularly with Ansible
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk
  • Azure or Linux Certifications
