Senior Java / Serverless

A well-known, long-standing company local to the Philadelphia area is growing their engineering team and hiring a Senior Developer. You will be joining a new team that will focus on building Java applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and specifically using serverless services. The ideal candidate is strongly experienced in the latest versions of Java and Spring Boot and has worked with microservices. Since this is a heavy cloud position, you should have experience beyond deployment on AWS and have experience in several of the services. This is a remote opportunity, but prefer individuals on the East Coast or local to the Philadelphia area. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience, but looking to apply that experience in a project that will require almost 100% new development. • Senior-level Java development experience
• Spring Boot
• Building REST APIs
• Strong experience with AWS (Lambdas and/or ECS required)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
• Excellent communication

Desired Skills & Experience

• MongoDB or other non-relational database experience
• Microservices
