Senior Security Engineer / Greater Philly Area

This investment banking firm is looking for a senior security engineer to be the security jack-of-all-trades. This is a senior blue team role that will involve work on high-level security projects and assisting with their current cloud migration, in addition to collaborating with the infrastructure team. Responsibilities will be split between operations and security, so if you are a hands-on leader who is wants to remain technical, this role is for you. This is a great position for someone who wants to elevate their technical skills and make an impact on the security department and its overall security posture. The role is a flexible hybrid in Philadelphia, so only local candidates will be considered.

Ideal candidates for this position will have strong AWS experience in addition to strong defensive security skills. Ability to do L2 and L3 incident response and remediation is required. This person would be making security suggestions to executives and will be responsible for implementing those suggestions. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of cyber security experience in a senior role (Security Engineer, SOC Lead, Senior Security Analyst, etc.)
• Experience in securing AWS environment
• Blue team security skills (incident response, DLP, vulnerability management, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Office 365 experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• SAST/DAST
