Data Analyst - Sales Data

A growing B2B-focused organization is seeking a Data Analyst with a strong background in SQL and data visualization to help drive insights from sales and performance data. This position will play a critical role in helping sales and strategy teams understand customer behavior, identify revenue opportunities, and optimize performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with large datasets to deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders across multiple departments.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role

  • Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets and building reports

  • Proficiency in at least one visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik

  • Experience working with sales data, KPIs, and funnel metrics

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to clearly present findings to both technical and non-technical teams

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

  • Experience creating dashboards and automated reporting workflows

  • Exposure to Python or R for deeper data analysis or automation

  • Knowledge of A/B testing or forecasting methodologies

  • Understanding of pipeline health, conversion metrics, and sales forecasting

  • 50% SQL Data Extraction and Analysis

  • 20% Cross-Team Collaboration and Presentation of Insights

Daily Responsibilities:

  • 60% Working with raw sales data to uncover trends and opportunities

  • 25% Designing and maintaining dashboards and performance reports

  • 15% Partnering with sales and strategy teams to support decision-making
